Administration

Gary joined the practice in May 2006 after completing his National Diploma in animal care at Newton Rigg college in 1999. Since then Gary has been a friendly face at our Whitehaven branch. In his spare time Gary enjoys spending time with his 2 young children Rhys and Noah.

Georgia joined the Whitehaven team in September 2012 and is now a qualified pet groomer along with achieving a diploma in animal management from Newton Rigg college.  When not at work Georgia enjoys socialising with friends, art and walking her dogs Mia, Elsa, Dougie and Molly

Allison joined the reception team at Egremont in 2009 and enjoys the day to day interaction with our established clients. She looks forward to holidays away and has a keen interest in history including ancient Egypt and old English medieval cities.

Katie is part of the reception team at Whitehaven and is currently studying to become an animal nursing assistant. In her spare time she enjoys going away on holidays, socialising with friends and walking her dog Jake

Hannah is part of the reception team and joined in August 2025 after relocating back to Cumbria with her family. She has previous of experience of being a patient care assistant in vet practices in Yorkshire. In her spare time she enjoys spending time at the beach and socialising with friends.

Joanne joined the practice in November 2022 after working in nursing and admin based jobs all over the country. She enjoys the customer service aspect of being a receptionist. In her spare time she enjoys reading and cuddling with her cat Mavis.

Kate joined the practice as a receptionist in 2025 with 16 years experience in mixed practice, to concentrate on helping our farm clients. When not spending time with her two children Sarah and Tom she enjoys spending time on the family farm, fell walking with her dog Bella and wild swimming.
