Nurses & Animal Carers

Jade Courty Registered Veterinary Nurse RVN

Since qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in April 2007, Jade has worked in Oxfordshire, Lancashire, and Glasgow, and has now settled back home in Cumbria. She enjoys all aspects of the job, from meeting happy patients in reception, to nursing them through the tough times. As well as her nursing role, Jade is also one of our Clinical Coaches to the trainee nurses and is soon to be studying her own course, a Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care. Jades Border Terrier, Bracken, often accompanies her wherever she goes.

Jordan Holliday Jordan Holliday Registered Veterinary Nurse RVN

Jordan joined the Whitehaven team in September 2013 and recently achieved her diploma in veterinary nursing from Newton Rigg College. Jordan likes to socialise with friends and walk her Labrador Max.

Georgia Murray Georgia Murray Pet Groomer & Receptionist

Georgia joined the Whitehaven team in September 2012 and is now a qualified pet groomer along with achieving a diploma in animal management from Newton Rigg college.  When not at work Georgia enjoys socialising with friends, art and walking her dogs Mia, Elsa, Dougie and Molly

Rachel Mork Pet groomer

Rachel joined our Egremont team in September 2014 and is a qualified pet groomer having completed her training with Myerscough college. When not at work she likes to take her dog Merlin to the beach and likes to get her nails done .

Catherine Symonds Pet Groomer

Catherine started work at our Whitehaven branch in February 2016 and really enjoys her job in the grooming parlour. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music and going out with friends .

Lorna Kelly Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Lorna joined the Whitehaven team in 2015 and is working towards a qualification in pet grooming and animal care through Newton Rigg college. In her spare time she enjoys going to the cinema and walking her dog Mitch

Joanne Connell Registered Veterinary Nurse RVN

Joanne joined our practice in October 2017 after qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in 2014. Growing up on a dairy farm inspired her interest in the large animal side of the practice. She enjoys socialising with friends and walking her dog Pip.

Louise Temple Registered Veterinary Nurse RVN

Louise qualified as a veterinary nurse from Myerscough college in January 2018, joining the practice in June 2019. Louise loves every aspect of her job, especially seeing happy and healthy patients go home to their owners. Louise is keen to develop her medical nursing care, as she is very interested in the management of different medical conditions. In her spare time, Louise spends time walking her two Jack Russell’s Meg and Ginny as well as socialising.
