Nurses & Animal Carers

Jordan joined the Whitehaven team in September 2013 and recently achieved her diploma in veterinary nursing from Newton Rigg College. Jordan likes to socialise with friends and walk her Labrador Max.

Lorna joined the Whitehaven team in 2015, initially as an animal care assistant working in all areas of the surgery. After much dedication and hard work Lorna went on to study veterinary nursing through Myercough college, and became a registered veterinary nurse in January 2021.  In her spare time she enjoys going to the cinema and walking her dog Mitch

Laurrie worked as a veterinary receptionist and animal nursing assisting since 2006. She joined the practice at the end of 2022 and has now competed her apprenticeship and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse at the end of 2025. She enjoys spending her time on the family farm and walking her dogs Bud and Raz.

Evie joined the practice in 2023 and completed her veterinary nurse apprenticeship, qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in 2025. She enjoys all aspects of mixed practice, including helping with farm and equine where possible. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dogs Harris and Fraser, wild swimming and riding her horse.

Gracie joined the practice in 2024, and after completing her animal nursing assistant course she is now studying her veterinary nursing apprenticeship. She enjoys all aspects of mixed practice and has an interest in lambing. In her spare time she enjoys going out with friends, walking her dogs and spending time with her cats Olive, Peggy and Annie.

Hannah starting working at the practice in 2025 after the qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse at harper Adams university, she enjoys all aspects of nursing especially emergency and critical care. In her spare time she enjoys baking and hiking with her dog Rhu.

Reeve joined the practice in 2024 and is currently studying her veterinary nursing apprenticeship. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and walking her dogs Tigi and Mable in the Lake District.

Kieran has been with the practice since 2023 whilst studying at college and is now studying for his veterinary nursing apprenticeship. In his spare time he enjoys gun dog training with his labrador May and Jack Russell Terrier Brian

Darcy started with the practice in 2023 and is currently studying veterinary nursing on a vet nurse apprenticeship. At home she is kept busy with her spaniel Bramble, cat Keith and hamster Pebbles.

Kirsty came to us in early 2026 with 15 years nursing experience in a busy mixed practice. She has a wide range of experince in all aspects of vet nursing.
